The Swim School
As well as our active and successful competitive swimming sections, Central run a regular swim school. This caters for swimmers from beginners up to 800 metres. Sessions are normally 30 or 45 minutes, depending upon ability, and run at three of our regular venues; Clifton High School Pool and Bristol University Pool on Sundays or St Mary Redcliffe pool on Thursday evenings.
The aim of the Swim School is to teach the basic levels of swimming against National set standards and help those who wish to progress through to Club level by providing ongoing teaching in small groups. All swimmers attending have to pay the appropriate ASA registration fee.
